Magny-Cours Track Day4th September 2009Magny-Cours has been host to the French Grand Prix since 1989 following enormous amounts of money from the French government in an attempt to foster economic regeneration to the area. Whilst seldom producing great F1 races numerous track day regulars absolutely love the place and rate Magny-Cours amongst their favourite circuits. The track comprises of lots of medium speed corners, chicanes and a fantastic 180 degree first corner along with enormous gravel traps making it extremely safe. And with a Holiday Inn on site it is possible to be in the pool with a glass of wine just fifteen minutes after Magny-Cours closes - you can even pop back to cool off during the lunch break, something you can't do at Snetterton! After your trip to Magny Cours it is worth considering a stop off at Paris on the way home, you'll be heading in the right direction and Paris is located just 160 miles North of Magny-Cours If you are planning to come on this trip why not include Dijon-Prenois, we will be there on the 3rd September.
