If you need a car short term or long term and don't want to use cash, former RMA Instructor and racer Gary Townsend has a very viable solution. Townsend Vehicle Solutions has a range of largely fleet type cars which are available for rent by the day, week, month or year. A monthly contract works out very competitively compared to a conventional lease deal and of course being a �daily rental� contract you can give the car back at any time without penalty. Alternatively you could change it every six months so you're always on the latest plate and whilst some individual cars are subject to mileage limits, you're contract with Gary isn't so if you do lots of miles you simply change the car every couple of months or whenever necessary.
Some rough figures on a car costing just under £30K on a PCP with 20,000 miles pa with £1000 deposit works out at around £750 per month for three years with a final payment of over £8,000 and of course you have to tax and maintain the car. Whereas Gary's deal works out at around £125 plus VAT per week, end of. In my book it's a no brainer!
