RMA Track Days August Newsletter

With Snetterton and Donington having happened since the last Newsletter it’s a big thank you to Michelin for the excellent hospitality they provided for both events as part of their Pilot Sport Experience. Their next appearance will be at Silverstone on 17th September for the final round of the Pilot Sport Challenge; currently we (GB) are in second place in the Challenge which is running in five European Countries. RMA are Michelin’s exclusive UK partner and we don’t like being in second place so if you’re on Michelin rubber join the September event and enter the Challenge, we want to win being the first looser isn’t good enough! Michelin have already featured the event in the Telegraph and are having double page spreads in Evo and Top Gear Magazines along with a full page in Track Driver magazine and numerous social Media and web based promotions, so don’t miss out; to enter the challenge click heret .

Lotus at Brands

Lotus will be with us at Brands Hatch on 10thSeptember with a range of cars available for participant of the day to test. There will their range topping 170mph Exige Cup and a race Evora at the very least. If you’re coming to Brands and are interested in trying either of these cars please register your interest by emailing your details.

McLaren at Spa?

For those who missed out at Brands last month – or want another go, the mighty McLaren will hopefully be bringing some of their fabulous 650s’ to Spa. Leyton got 178mph out of a 12c through Eau Rouge and the 650s is even quicker! Watch this space for the latest update on their attendance.

Audi at Silverstone

Having attended two RMA events last year they are returning in October with a full range of cars including my personal favourite the R8V10 Plus, the RS6 the fastest estate car in the universe, the wolf in sheep’s clothing RS4 and the awesome little S3 (300bhp) accompanied by it’s baby sister the S1 (235bhp)
