Rolls Royce Wraith spied on the road!

RMA Track Days talks about the sighting of the new Rolls Royce Wraith!

The Wraith will have been undergoing pre-production development ahead of the first deliveries this autumn. It promises to be the most dynamic Rolls-Royce ever produced, with the explicit aim of attracting younger buyers to the brand.

It's based on the Ghost saloon, but is shorter and lower. Firmer suspension also aims to create a heightened sense of dynamism in the Wraith.

The engine is a development of the 6.6-litre twin-turbo V12 fitted to the Ghost. In the Wraith, it produces 624bhp and 590lb ft. Mated to an eight-speed auto, the Wraith is capable of 0-62mph in 4.4 seconds.

Rolls-Royce will encourage buyers to opt for a two-tone colour scheme, as seen on this pre-production car. This allows for a bonnet design similar to the brushed aluminium effect first seen on the Phantom Drophead Coupé. Before any options are added, the Wraith will cost £235,000.

The manufacturer has recently revealed that it is planning to produce a convertible version of the new Wraith.
