Three Peaks Bike and Hike Challenge 2012
Please support long serving RMA Paddock Club member in his worthy cause!!
This July our South of England Area Manager, James Gourlay and our Head of Marketing, Grant Gidman will join Gary and myself in attempting our most extreme test to-date.
Originally pencilled in the as the National Three Peak Challenge - the feat involving climbing the highest mountain in each England, Scotland and Wales in just 24 hours – Gary and I ‘unanimously’ decided that this was simply not enough and that a rather ‘large tweak’ was needed…
…so, instead of driving between the peaks, we’re getting on our bikes (once again) and cycling the 500 plus miles between Snowden and Ben Nevis, via Scafell Pike in JUST 6 DAYS!
The ride will see us bike through some of the UK’s best scenery, ascending over 4,300 meters, not forgetting the climb of three rather ‘large’ mountains that amass to elevations of over 3,000 meters.
This is obviously a mammoth task by anyone’s standard, for which we’re aiming to kick off our efforts to raise £20,000 for two great charities close to all our hearts; Cancer Research UK & Cash for Kids – Park Leisure’s nominated Charities of the Year.
I am emailing you today to ask that you consider supporting our great charities and us once again. With you help and kind donation we will achieve and perhaps surpass our £20,000 target.
Showing your support is simple, either:
• Text PLPL99 followed by your donation amount (i.e. PLPL99 £20) to 70070
• Donate via our dedicated Just Giving page at justgiving.com/park-leisure
Alternatively, you can email details of your donation to Park Leisure and one of our guys will contact you to make the relevant arrangements.
In anticipation of your support and on behalf of Cancer Research UK and Cash for Kids, and on behalf of Gary, James, Grant and myself, please accept our thanks.
