Zolder
Track Days

Zolder was the host of the Belgian Formula 1 Grand Prix up until 1984 where it was then moved to Spa-Francorchamps. This 2.5 mile track is wrapped in the forests and holds some brilliant secrets. Many drivers still claim this to be one of the hardest tracks despite it's length. The undulation and rolling corners makes it a favourite for racers all over the world.

Circuit Guide
Our Chief Instructors View.

"I think Zolder is definitely a track that is overlooked too easily. Most people have never driven it and some have never even heard of it! It's one of those tracks that requires a lot of concentration and patience before you start piecing together really fluid laps. Turn one through to turn four is a beautifully fast piece of track which allows for some fantastic connections between corners. It's my favourite part of the lap for sure! The second half is a lot more technical. You're faced with some slow in, fast out chicanes where it's easy to get carried away and lose time. It's this part of the lap where the patience and concentration really comes in. If you can get these bits right then you'll be well on your way to a good lap time. Zolder is definitely a knowledge track so if you don't know your way round, then getting some instruction is highly recommended as it will save you a lot of time trying to figure it out yourself."
